Global Imaging can also set a redirect page so that customers are sent to the Web site of your choosing after they complete a successful log-in, further reinforcing your marketing and branding goals. End-users simply log on to the wireless network with a username and password. Network administrators can set automatic network timeout, and enable or disable end-users’ ability to create and manage their own accounts.

Global Imaging Wireless networks are compatible with all Wi-Fi-compliant 802.11b access cards. It requires no special client, and works seamlessly with laptops, desktop computers and PDAs running Windows®, Macintosh®, Linux, Unix, Palm® and other operating systems. No need to send software to the client because no special software is required to use a Global Imaging wireless network.

Global Imaging wireless deployments are dramatically less expensive to deploy than alternative solutions such as laser based systems. Our systems are designed to run on inexpensive Access Points, enabling you to take advantage of the high-volume price curve of mass market APs.
•Network security
Global Imaging supports existing network security standards such as WEP, WPA and VPN pass-through. Global Imaging provides an additional layer of security by requiring all users to log in before they access the network. Guest policy management enables administrators to define private networks. Users classed as “guests” can go anywhere on the Internet—but not on private networks.
